i want to believe?

I saw the x-files movie today. a proper review to follow.

we went to a 3.20 screening, which was about half full. besides us, all the other people there were elderly.

I never really thought about how the x-files might appeal to the older set. I wonder who came hoping to see aliens, who came because they are ex-fbi, and who came because they find david duchovny dreamy.

the show has been off the air for quite some time and it was interesting to see people in the theater who I wouldn’t immediately think were die hard fans. maybe there was nothing else that seemed appealing at the theater?

or maybe elderly people are just as dorky as I am. who’s to say?
